However, events posted by non-members are reviewed by the adminstrators to prevent SPAM, so there is a delay before these events appear on the calendar. Also, you MUST include contact details to have your event announced. Without this information your event will not be approved. If you do not want the public to see your contact information, send us the details privately using the contact page.
What's needed to add an event? At a minimum, you'll need to provide the event's title, description, and start time. We suggest that you include in the description:
- Venue
- Town, state and country
- Directions
- Contact email or phone number
- URL for event details
How do I add an event?
>On the Menu Bar above, click on Add Event
>Enter a Brief Description (this shows in Calendar Date Box)
>Enter a Full Description (this shows when someone places their mouse over the Brief Description)
>Choose the correct Date
>Click on the drop down box (untimed event) to choose which time your event covers.
>Click on Save
>Check back later to see if your event is approved.
Can I schedule Recurring Events? Yes, when adding an event there is an option to repeat the event. You can schedule to repeat it daily, weekly & monthly. For events longer than 6 months we ask you to come back and re-enter your details.
Is the Calendar Monitored? Yes, of course it is. Any event added will not show on the calendar until approved by one of the administrators (within 24 hours but usually less.)
What do I get if I Log-In? If you log-in and register, you'll get e-mail notifications whenever an event is added to the calender.
How much does it cost? The Service is FREE.
